Leader, Senior Software Engineer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Applications are welcome for the position of Senior Software
Engineer at AOTEA Global Tanzania. The
position holder will be responsible for providing experienced technical skills
for the implementation and maintenance of various control and automations
systems software packages written in ANSI C/C++, Java, C#, SQL, PHP and similar
programming languages. Part of this responsibility includes gathering requirements
from clients, researching for implementation options, sourcing required vendors
and manufacturers, designing and implementing a final solution according to
specified budget.
Responsibilities:
1.
Provide experienced technical skills in areas of
software development from scratch to delivery.
2.
Conceptualize, design and implement required
solutions as per client’s technical and business requirements.
Skills:
1.
Proficiency in and working experience with
programming in Java, C/C++ and C#.
2.
Good understanding of operating systems (Unix
[Ubuntu, VxWorks], Windows) and networking operations diagnostics (Network
programming, Wireshark).
3.
Protocol and API integrations experience.
4.
Software analysis and debugging experience.
5.
Software security knowhow is an added advantage.
6.
High performance computing and algorithms
working experience are an added advantage.
Qualifications and
Experience:
1.
4+ years working in the software development
industry.
2.
1+ years management and or leadership position
in software engineering is an added advantage.
3.
BSc. Computer Science / Computer Engineering /
Electrical Engineering / Telecommunication Engineering or similar field.
4.
Good written and spoken English language
command.
5.
Multinational experience is an added advantage.
