Territory Sales Manager(s) Location: Across Tanzania
The Position:
The TSM role is a pivotal role in the Sales organisation as a manager of a territory with a sales team of over 100 people. The TSM is reporting to the Head of Sales.
As the Manager of the Territory, this role’s pnmary purpose is to optimise the delivery of the Territory by achieving and beating the annual budget KPl’s Revenue, Cost and Sales Productivity. The TSM must analyse daily, weekly and monthly data, spot trends and act on them quickly.

The TSM must understand ZOLA’s Channel Strategy and align activity & territory plans with that strategy
Monitor team size and spans of control and identify areas of concern.
Develop action plan to build & maintain healthy team sizes & spans of control, in line with Group guidance
Coordinate recruitment & onboarding activities with internal partners
Coach FSS in particular on planning, supervisory & leadership skills
Identify & build candidates to take on greater responsibility
The TSM is responsible that the team’s FSSs, FLS & FSRs are well organised and achieve their targets
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing on any relevant field of study
4-6 Years of Management experience. 2 years’ experience in Direct Sales v/ill be an additional advantage
Full literacy in English, numeracy and IT
Significant commercial and industry business to business sales experience
Strong planning & organising skills
Proven success in utilising interpersonal and sales skills at multiple levels to maximise sales
Understanding of the local business environment
Knowledge of basic financial principles
Supervisory skills
Analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant post graduate qualification e.g. MBA
Telecom / white goods industry experience
Direct Sales management experience, experience of the expansion into new territories
