DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i.To teach up to NTA level 6 (ordinary Diploma)
ii.To assist in conducting tutorial and practical exercises for students under close supervision;
iii.To prepare learning resources for tutorial exercises
iv.To assist in conducting research under close supervision and
v.To carry out consultancy and community services under close supervision.
vi.To support and prepare standards for hardware, software, development methods and security measures;
vii.To monitor and maintains database;
viii.To update and website design;
ix.To manage server;
x.To manage troubleshooting hardware/software problems;
xi.To maintain security of computer operating system and software;
xii.To install of operating system and application software and
xiii.To prepare in house computer training for users on mostly used software.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma either in Computer Science or Information Technology or related computer studies from a recognized institution and a GPA of 3.5 or above.
REQUIRED SKILLS
i.Advanced knowledge of front end software development scripting, languages and frameworks such HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Foundation, Bootstrap, Bulma, Semantic, Query and Ajax.
ii. Practical skills on Object Oriented Programming (OOP) such as JAVA and C++
iii.Working knowledge of various programming languages (Including PHP).
iv.Advanced knowledge on the use of software development framework such Spring, YII and Code igniter
v.Practical knowledge on Relational database design such as MariaDb, MySQL and Oracle
vi.Practical knowledge on qualitative data analysis tools such as nvivo and ATLAS. ti
vii.Practical knowledge on quantitative data analysis tools such as R framework, SPSS, and STATA
viii.Sound knowledge in Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) operating systems.
